Chapter 24.
New York, Monday, September 10, 2001 (3:33 PM).
Martha walked slowly down Park Avenue. It was not
very risky to say that she was enjoying her walk. It was only
ten minutes since she had made the second jump to fulfill
the second mission that had been entrusted to her.
Her target was the JTD headquarters. In them she had
to deliver two letters so that tomorrow at 8:00 AM, they
would be delivered to their addressees.
One of the two letters was addressed to Howard
Moore. The letter had been written by himself in February
2030, and it contained all the instructions to be followed
very clearly. It also included a classified coding that
certified without any doubt the authenticity of the
authorship to the recipient himself.
The second letter had David Goodwill as the sender
and his mother Evelyn Goodwill as the addressee.
Martha had not read either letter. She only had to
deliver them to the JTD so that tomorrow they would be
delivered on time to their recipients.
