Chapter 11.
. . . / . . .
Jennifer arrived on time. There were just two minutes to
go before eleven AM when she called David from her car.
“Good morning, David! Are you ready? I’m waiting for
you on the corner of Sixth Avenue.”
“Good morning, Jennifer! I’ll put a sweater on and come
straight down. I’ll be right there,” David told her.
“Okay, see you in a minute,” said Jennifer before
hanging up.
David went down to the ground floor, going over in his
head everything he had prepared in the last two days. He
had decided if Jennifer asked him how old he was, he would
add on four or five years. That would make his knowledge
more credible. He had learned a lot about what happened
during and after the fateful morning of the attacks. He had
also studied the reconstruction of Ground Zero in depth.
